Welcome to the New Testament!

I’m writing a transitional summary that should be available by Sunday, demonstrating how both testaments, the old and the new, are dependent on one another. Stay Tuned!

As we begin reading the New Testament, I encourage you to “read” the New Testament and avoid “reading into” the New Testament.
The message of the New Testament is a message of good news, glad tidings, joy, rejoicing, peace (shalom shalom), and celebration to those who would receive the Kingdom. At the same time, the kingdom message was a warning that the old system was passing away and an impending judgment was “at hand”. This would be good news to those who would receive the warning and respond with repentance but bad news to those who would follow the pattern of their forefathers and reject the prophets, John the Baptist and Jesus the Son of God.
Jesus preached and demonstrated the Kingdom through signs and wonders. It is our job to follow the pattern of Jesus by preaching and demonstrating the power of the kingdom.
I pray that the spirit of revelation and understanding rests on each of you as you read through the New Testament.

Blessings,
Apostle
