Correction Series 2025

More often than we’d like to admit, many decisions come down to just that—sound judgment, practical wisdom, and discernment.

Our relationship with God begins at the heart, and so correction must also begin at the heart level. If we desire a pure and authentic relationship with God, we must be quick to address and correct matters of the heart.

So, check yourself when your ego feels bruised. Don’t reject the correction—adjust your posture. Choose humility. Receive the benefit of correction given in love.

This morning, when I opened my iPad to begin writing, it wouldn’t connect to the internet. A message popped up: Connection Failed – TRY AGAIN. That simple phrase hit me: Try it again.

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. "

Don’t let anything stand in the way of your growth and change. “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed…” — James 5:16

Ignorance is the opposite of knowledge. It’s a stronghold that locks you into stagnation and prevents growth.

 Don’t live your life ignoring correction signs. They’re there for a reason.

Have you ever been driving somewhere using GPS, and a message pops up saying you can save several minutes by taking a different route? That’s course correction.

 When a person is influenced or even possessed by the spirit of pride, they will reject correction—no matter how clear or justified it may be.

But correction, when rendered in love, is a gift from God. Ask Him to heal you so that you may have ears to hear and a heart to receive correction. It is not meant to harm, but to position us for growth and blessings.

The Bible tells us that the Lord corrects those He loves. So in this season, be open to correction—however and through whomever God chooses to bring it—and continue to grow in His grace.
